Obituary for Patsy Pritchett (Traylor)

Patsy Pritchett (Traylor)
Patsy Ruth Traylor Pritchett, 83, of South Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Retreat Hospital in Richmond. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Brooks Traylor and the widow of Curtis E. Pritchett who had passed away just this past September. They were married for 66 years. Mrs. Pritchett retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco with over 33 years of service. She is survived by her daughters, Linda K. Wyatt and husband, Ken, Brenda C. Shaw and husband, Tom, Melinda G. Ellington and husband, Gill; three grandchildren, Rodney D. Wyatt and wife, Julie, Troy N. Allen and wife, Angie, Tammy L. King; five great-grandchildren, Hailey, RJ, Keeley, Mataysha, Natasha; three great-great grandchildren, Zay, Shawn, Kamden; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday October 17, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Pastor Jim Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George. The family will receive friends Monday evening, October 16, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She lived simply, loved generously, cared deeply, spoke kindly, and lived her life for God. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com
