Adam Newton (38) of Prince George, Virginia passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022.
He graduated from Southern Nash High School in Nash County North Carolina in 2004. He lived in Prince George, VA with his wife and dog Rambo.
His family is deeply saddened, he will continue to live in the hearts of many, both friends and family.
Adam took great pride in his work; he was a Master Landscaper. He loved being outside whether it was working, fishing, playing with his dogs or spending time with his wife, family and friends. Adam had a special place in his heart for his elderly customers as they reminded him of his beloved Grandma.
Adam was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, friend, and husband who loved wholeheartedly and unconditionally. He loved things simple like trips to the beach, mountains and Lake Chesdin with his wife and spending time family and friends.
The family would like to express our gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and chaplains in the VCU Critical Care Hospital for their care of Adam upon his arrival and during the organ donation process. Adam’s organs were placed in five different recipients. He will continue to help others, even in death as he would have wanted.
Adam was predeceased by Lois C. Newton (Grandma), Shelton (Shack) T. Newton Sr. (Grandaddy), Shelton (Shelly) T. Newton Jr. (Uncle), Maime S. Rowlett (Grandma) Cleveland P. Rowlett (Grandpa).
He was survived by his wife Carey M Newton, Diane R. Adams (Mom) and husband Eddie, Kenneth C Newton (Dad), Michelle H Motes (sister) and husband Russten, Stephanie B. Adams (sister), Elizabeth A. Shields (sister) and her husband Nicholas, Jonathan E. Adams (brother) and his wife Kaitlin. Adam also had a special place in his heart for his nephews Bodhi A. Miles and Daniel A. Parton and newest nephew Jackson T. Adams. Anabel W. Newton (aunt)
Adam’s remains will be buried at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, Virginia
on Thursday, April 14. 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newton grave site with his gem of a Grandma Lois C. Newton.
A reception will be held at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church located at 3110 Greenwood Ave Colonial Heights, VA 23834 immediately following the graveside service.
