Addie Starke

Addie W. Starke, 97, of Hopewell, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at her residence.  She was born July 13, 1925, in Dinwiddie, Virginia to the late Henry M. Wells and Louise Barnes Jackson and was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence D. Starke, brother; Henry C. Wells, and two sisters; Anna Maitland, Bertha Prosise. She was a member of Prospect Christian Church in Dinwiddie.  She is survived by a son Larry T. Starke, daughter Lynne S. Nichols and husband; Tyree, two granddaughters; Anna Sears, and husband; Kevin, Jessica Starke, great-grandchildren; Addie, Ruby, Gracie, Myla. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022, in Southlawn Memorial Park 1911 Birdsong Road S.
