Alice Mae LeBarnes

Alice LeBarnes 90, of Emporia, Virginia passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. She was born in Blue Hill, Maine, and lived a long and full life centered on love, family, and cherished traditions.

She is survived by her two children, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her memory and the many lessons she lovingly shared. She now joins her beloved husband, who passed away ten years ago.

Family was at the heart of her life. She found joy in cooking meals that brought everyone together, spending time at the card table with loved ones, watching classic old movies that reminded her of simpler times, and Christmas mornings. Her warmth, laughter, and devotion will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A private family service was held to honor her life.
