Audrey Dalton Tipton

Audrey Dalton Tipton, 76, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Born on January 20, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Dalton and Elizabeth Jean Dalton. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Anderson.

Audrey was a proud member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Along with her faith she enjoyed reading, listening to music, and was a fan of all sports including baseball and hockey. She had a successful career as a computer programmer, working for Fort Lee and independent contractors.

She is survived by her sister, Linda “Joyce” Stokes, sons, Todd Tipton (Denise) and Jeff Tipton (Christie), grandchildren, Bailey and Dalton, numerous step-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and beloved friend, Belinda Tipton.
