Barbara Kormanec Pittman

Barbara Lee Kormanec Pittman, 91, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, James F. Funk and Lelia M. Cutchin. She was the eldest of four siblings and predeceased her brothers and sister. She was married to David A. Kormanec and widowed, and again widowed by Roy A. Pittman after 38 years of marriage.

She was a member of Saint Ann Catholic Church, and a 1948 graduate of Saint Joseph High School. She retired as Office Manager in 2006 from Hopewell Animal Hospital and frequently brought dogs home for the weekend or forever home. She enjoyed family gatherings, entertaining, flowers, and gardening.

She was predeceased by her two sons, David L. Kormanec and Michael L. Kormanec; her granddaughter, Sarah G. Ventura; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Kormanec.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Lisa Kormanec; her sister-in law, Sister Mary Kormanec; Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati; daughter-in-law, Connie Kormanec; grandsons, Andrew Kormanec and Caleb Kormanec; and granddaughters, Lelia Willis, and Tiffany Smith. She had 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
