Barbara Lee Millard

Barbara Lee Millard, 74, of S. Chesterfield passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Born March 20, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Alma and Charles Edward Stigall.

Barbara was a woman of great warmth and kindness, known for her unwavering love for those around her. As a member of The Heights Baptist Church, she cherished the fellowship with her church family.

Barbara had a special place in her heart for animals. Her home was a sanctuary for many pets over the years, each one finding in her a loving and devoted caretaker. 

Barbara's family and friends were the center of her world. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, always ready to lend a listening ear, offer a comforting word, or share in a moment of joy.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine Tess Ransone, Angie Zerull; grandchildren, Cromwell Ransone, Vaylan Zerull, Winston Ransone, Eliza Keeton; sisters, Diane Cumbie, Paige Stigall, Beth Dowdy and husband, Tony; other extended family and many beloved friends.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Colonial Heights Moose Lodge, 170 Moose Ave, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
