Barbara Ann Ridenhower of Prince George County passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. Born in Granite City, Illinois on September 30, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Donald H. Gauen and Beulah Harding Gauen. She was preceded in death by her husbands Ernest Reybuck and C. Wayne Ridenhower, and sisters Lois Gauen Ganz (Steve) and Ellen Gauen Dickey (Sam). She is survived by the sisters Mary Gauen Speidel (Jim), Nancy Gauen Norris (Danny) and brother, D. Robert Gauen (Jaime) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Barbara had a zest for life! She loved spending time with her family playing games and cards. She also loved her horses and dogs.

A memorial service will be held at St. Elizabeth Church, Granite City, Illinois at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s name to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Alzheimer’s Association.
