Barbara Tunstall

Barbara Ellen Tunstall, age 88, passed away at Brighter Living Assisted Living Facility in Hopewell, Virginia, on Monday, January 30, 2023. Barbara was born on November 23, 1934, the youngest daughter of the late John W. Vaughan, Sr. and Evelyn Francis Smithers Vaughan of Chester, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two older siblings, John “Winston” Vaughan, Jr. and Virginia Frances Oden. In addition to her parents and siblings, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Morris “Pete” Tunstall. She is survived by four loving children, Judith Ann Harris (Mike), Owen Lee Clark, Jr., Sandra Lynn Hill, and John Preston Clark (Teresa). In addition to her surviving family to include is eleven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong resident of Chesterfield County and retired from the Chesterfield County Treasurer’s Office. After retirement, she pursued her passion for buying, collecting, and selling antiques. She will be lovingly missed by her entire family.
