Brenda Barron Milhoan

Brenda Barron Milhoan, 74, of Claremont, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Born in Petersburg, Virginia on March 31, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Paul Barron and Josephine Gibbs Barron. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Yeckley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony “Tom” Milhoan; son, Jimmy East (Trista); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Andrew Barron, Jr. and Roy Allen Barron; sisters, Paulette Wyatt (John) and Loretta Ritter; and numerous nieces, nephew, and other extended family members.

Brenda spent her life surrounded by the world of art, creating and inspiring creativity in others. She graduated from Virginia State University with a degree in art and went on to share her passion as an art teacher at Hopewell High School. Brenda enjoyed expressing herself through various forms of art and found true joy in doing what she loved most.
