Bret O'Bryan Forrest

Bret O’ Bryan Forrest, 32, of Matoaca, VA, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Richmond, Virginia on July 15, 1991. Bret was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Burleson; grandfather, Daryl Forrest; and many aunts and uncles that Bret has missed very much, and we know he is happy to be reunited with.  Bret was the jack of all trades, including iron working, glass and metal working, electrical work, and heating and air. He also had a love for fishing, hunting and golfing.  He is survived by his wife, Stefany Forrest; mother, Tammy Forrest; father, Les Forrest; stepmother, Sonya Forrest; sister, Jaylyn Emerson; brother, Tyler Forrest; grandfather, Gene Statler; grandmother, Donna Statler; grandmother, Linda Forrest; mother and father in-law, Tony and Jackie Maybury; niece, A’mya Lindsay; and many aunts uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him very much.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the home of Bret and Stefany Forrest.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Reinhart Guest House, 1100 Libbie Ave, Richmond, Virginia 23226.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
