Bruce Wayne Williams, 72, of Chester passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Born December 17, 1953, he was the son of the late Joyce Marie Joyner and Clarence Augustine Williams, Jr., and was also preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Augustine “Bebe” Williams III.
Bruce was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent 38 years as a machinist at Phillip Morris before his retirement. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially fishing and trying his luck with scratcher lotto tickets. He also took great pride in his Harley, which brought him much joy over the years.
He is survived by his sisters, Susan Williams Andrews and husband, Andy, Kim Williams Smith and husband, Stephen; nephew and nieces, Gaston Andrews and wife, Emily Casey Pittman and husband, Chris, Ivey Smith; great-nieces and nephews, June Andrews, Baby Boy Andrews, who is expected any day, Reese, Cora, Luke, Clay Pittman, Kaison and Isla Kohn; and other extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com
