Camden Lee Rentfrow entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 28, 2026.

Our beloved, adventurous boy was only 14 years old, yet he lived with a heart far older than his years. From the time he could walk, he was happiest outdoors, riding a bike at four, waiting for the next fish, and playing baseball. Water and the baseball field were his happy places.

At 12 years old, he joined the Civil Air Patrol, proud to wear the uniform and eager to learn discipline, service, and the sky. He loved to build things with his hands. STEM projects, Legos, robots- always turning an idea into something real. Those same hands were the first to help. He looked after the people around him without being asked, and strangers and friends alike remarked how respectful and kind he was.

His humor brightened every room, and his loving nature made people feel safe. He treated others as he wished to be treated, and was a boy who fished, built, served, and loved well.

We know that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We take comfort in knowing that Camden is with Jesus, the One who made the lakes he loved and the hands who built and served. Until we see him again, he will always be loved and remembered by his parents, Nathan and Jamie, his siblings, Callen and Caisley, and countless other family members and friends.

His celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Hope Point Church, 10500 Newbys Bridge Road Chesterfield, VA 23832. A reception will follow, where we will enjoy some of Camden’s favorites. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
