Carl Rutherford

Carl David Rutherford, 60, of Colonial Heights went to be with The Lord Friday, March 4, 2022.  He was born December 10, 1961, to the late Earl and Mary Rutherford. David was also preceded in death by a son, Carl David Rutherford II.  David is survived by a son, Christopher Hutchinson; four daughters, Tiffany Lopez, Phabeanna Lawson, Stormy Barbour and Reyna Rutherford; seven grandchildren and two sisters, Sherri Woodfin and Linda Kramer.  He served in the United States Coast Guard.  David was a chef for many years, most recently at the American Legion in Colonial Heights.  A memorial service will be held l:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
