Caroline Irene Dufour Michel passed peacefully on September 16, 2026 at home surrounded by her favorite people. Born on August 20, 1950 in New Hampshire, she lived a life of going with the flow, looking on the bright side, and leading with empathy and compassion. She is rejoicing with her one and only love, Roger, in addition to her siblings Ivan, Mariette, Regis, Norman, and Anita, and her loving parents Omer and Lucia.

As a mother, grandmother, sibling, aunt, and friend she instilled strong values of humor and humility and was responsible for many core memories. She was truly a best friend, a safe place, and a confidant. The laughs she shared with everyone who knew her will serve as a reminder that she fought hard but always kept her humor. Her relentless humor, charisma, and genuine care for others will live on through her two daughters, Laurie and Brenda, son-in-law Stacey, her granddaughter, Kristina, and her surviving siblings Ray, Bernadette, Lina, and Marguerite.
