Carolyn Wilmoth Draben, 87, of North Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Born in Chester, VA on June 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William Baylor Wilmoth and Agnes Dorothy Taylor Wilmoth. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walter Draben and her siblings, Joy Harris, Debbie Bosher, and Kendall Wilmoth.

She is survived by her brother, Bruce Wilmoth and his wife, Janet; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she earned her Master’s degree. She was a physical education teacher and had the opportunity to teach in many places around the world. In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed being a Master Gardener, crafting, working with stained glass, and woodworking.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes.
