Carolyn Shelton

Carolyn Joyce Shelton, 75, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at 7:37 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents Earman and Francis McCauley, of Norfolk, Va.; her brother Earmon McCauley, Jr.; her sister, Pamela Matthews; her daughter, Marcel Crowell; and her grandson Dillon Shelton. She is survived by her daughter, Darla Guerrero; her son Monty Shelton; and her daughter, Jennifer Patrick; as well as nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She lived to be able to have 5 generations in her living legacy.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Va. 23834 with a visitation to be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
