Charles Hopkins

Charles William Hopkins, 84, of Chesterfield died Monday, April 14, 2008 at John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. Hopkins was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Procise Hopkins. He is survived by his wife, Doris Rudy Hopkins; son, Barry W. Hopkins and wife, Cathy; daughters, Cindy H. Wade and husband, David, and Lisa H. Ramey and husband, Kevin all of Chesterfield; seven grandchildren, Angela H. Stalnaker and husband, Keith, and Chris Hopkins and wife, April all of Chesterfield, Shawn A. Hopkins and wife, Christine of Dinwiddie, Ashley & Jesse Wade, and Travis & Justin Ramey all of Chesterfield; seven great-grandchildren, Bret & Brandon Fuller, Landen Stalnaker, Logan & Ryan Hopkins all of Chesterfield, Faith Pollard and Hailey Hopkins both of Dinwiddie. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Woods United Methodist Church Cemetery, 7200 Hickory Road, with the Rev. Doug Gilfillan officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
