Charles Joseph “Chuck” Wilusz, 81, of Colonial Heights, passed away peacefully at his home on July 21, 2025. Born on December 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Kasmir Wilusz and Margaret Mary Foley Wilusz, and was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Mary Wilusz.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Chuck served his country with honor and continued his service to his community and faith throughout his life. Chuck retired after 35 years of service from Kaiser Aluminum. He was a devoted member of St. Ann Catholic Church for many years and an esteemed member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served as a Past Grand Knight and he belonged to the Appomattox Assembly Petersburg VA, Fourth Degree. He served as a director and member of the Board of the Old Brick House Foundation. Chuck’s faith was a guiding force in his life, and he put that faith into action through service. He was the founder of the "Feed Your Faith" program, a ministry that nourished the bodies and the spirits of many; reflecting his deep commitment to helping others grow in their relationship with God.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Joy Wilusz; daughter, Dianna Dawn Wilusz and wife, Lisa Terese Lewis; nephew, Adam Wilusz-Poresky and wife, Kirsten Moon Wilusz-Poresky; great-nieces, Penelope, Natalie and Emily Wilusz-Poresky; niece, Lori Hunt and husband, Joe Hunt; niece, Pamela Undercoffler; and nephew, Scott Undercoffler.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Route 1., S. Chesterfield, VA 23834 with Father Jim Cowles celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery, S. Chesterfield, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church Food Pantry or the Tunnel to Towers. May he rest in eternal peace. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
