Clyde Crawford Sr.

Loving husband and father, Clyde Warren Crawford, Sr.,79, died Sunday, August 13, 2017, at his residence surrounded by family. He leaves his wife Marie of 56 years; son, C. Warren Crawford, Jr. (Cheryl); daughter, Karen Rutledge (Jimmy); son, Michael Crawford (Mariela); grandchildren: Alex and Steven Crawford, Jamie Rutledge (Shawna), Jill Whittle (Scott), Emily McCoy (Michael), Ella and Nolan Crawford; great-grandchildren: Caroline and Landon Whittle, Jocelyn Rutledge and Evan McCoy; sister, Mary Ann Potts (James); and countless other family members and friends. Mr. Crawford was a lifelong resident of Matoaca, an active member of Wesley Chapel UMC, as well as other numerous organizations in the community. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017, at Wesley Chapel UMC at 3:00 p.m., Michelle Lindsey, Pastor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Wesley Chapel UMC, 9227 River Road, South Chesterfield, VA 23803.
