With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Colton Edwards, who left this world far too soon at the age of 32. Colton was a kind, gentle soul with a deep love for his family, friends, and beloved furbabies, Nylah and Revin.
Born with a compassionate heart, Colton was known for being dependable, loyal, and for caring too much at times — always wearing his heart on his sleeve. His sweet spirit and comforting hugs made those around him feel seen, loved, and whole.
Colton had a profound passion for music, often pouring his heart into every lyric and melody. He was also an avid gamer, where his creativity, wit, and competitive spirit found a home among friends both near and far.
Colton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kent and Mary Edwards, his Uncle Jeff Edwards, and his Cousin Elizabeth Edwards.
He leaves behind a loving family who cherished him deeply: his grandmother, Linda Norwood; his mother, Rebekah Arroyo; his father, Michael Norwood; stepfathers Wayne Turner and Daniel Arroyo; his sister, Kayla Pisall, and brother-in-law, Zack Pisall; his brother, Micheal A. Norwood; his sister, Jessika Norwood; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, one nephew, one niece, and a circle of devoted friends who were more like family.
Colton’s gentle presence, his laughter, and the love he so freely gave will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 12:30 PM until at 21601 Pickett Ave, South Chesterfield, VA 23803. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones a little closer, share a song in Colton’s memory, donate to an animal shelter and remember to be kind — just as he would have been.
