Danny Skeeters

Danny D. Skeeters, 58, of Petersburg passed away August 13, 2022. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on July 7, 1964 to the late Farrell and Margaret Skeeters and was preceded in death by his nephews, Timothy Troy Nicely and Randolph James Nicely. Mr. Skeeters was an underground pipelayer and he enjoyed shooting guns. He is survived by his sisters, Rose Nicely (Troy) and Dee Olinger (Steve); nephews, James Archbell (Brooke) and Nathan Nicely (Leah); niece, Lauren Olinger; aunt, Judy Johns (Glenn); uncle, Garland Lohr; cousin, Shirley Blount; several great nieces and nephews; special friend, Joe Riggs (Ruth); and beloved cat, Chevy. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
