Dorothy Fitzgerald

Dorothy L. Fitzgerald, 84, of Chesterfield, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. She was born July 6, 1929 in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Henry Ernest McGee Sr. and Marie Toth McGee, and the widow of Earl Spencer Fitzgerald Sr. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. She is survived by a brother, Henry E. McGee, Jr. and wife, Doris of Hopewell, two sons, Johnny Johnson and wife, Kimberly of North Chesterfield, and Spencer Fitzgerald and wife, Ellie of North Carolina; a daughter, Cindy Farmer of Chester; grandchildren, Jay Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Kim Williams, T. J. Seay, Samantha Seay, Dawn Johnson, Jessica Farmer and fiancé, Travis, Beth Farmer, and Megan Fitzgerald; seven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Joyce; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, 17120 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Nathan Decker and the Reverend Tom Brown officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
