Earl Roger Douglas

Earl Roger Douglas, affectionately known as Doug, 84, of Chester passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Born October 5, 1939, he was the son of the late Earl Edward and Viola Kuntz Douglas and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Elizabeth Adams.

Doug was a member of The Heights Baptist Church. He retired from Dominion Resources after a successful and dedicated career as an analytic chemist.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Ann Spease Douglas; children, Kelly Douglas Rivard (Paul), Christopher Thomas Douglas (Terri), Preston Pinkleton (Pam), David Pinkleton (Kim), Angela Gail Heisler (Gary); 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024 in Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
