Elsie Emory

Elsie Urban Emory, 82, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at River View on the Appomattox, Hopewell. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kosar Urban, and was preceded in death by her husband, James Emory Jr. Mrs. Emory was a member of Colonial Heights Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Elbie U. Chambers of La Plata, Maryland, Rose Watson of Los Angeles, California, William Urban, Mary Ryan, and George Urban all of Petersburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Church of the Nazarene, 601 E. Ellerslie Avenue, Colonial Heights with the Reverend Mike Lamphire officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
