Eunice Brockwell

Eunice T. Brockwell, 89, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014. Born in Lunenburg County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late James A. and Annie Callis Thompson, and was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Wells, Olive Barnes, Robert "Doc" Thompson and Laura Love. Mrs. Brockwell was a member of Highland United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John H. Brockwell; a sister, Ann Thompson of Hampton, Virginia; three nieces, Carole Gibson (Joe), Anne Shell (Bruce), and Laura James (Bill); a nephew, James Love (Fara); numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great nephews; special friend, Nancy Redd; and caregivers, Nancy Jones and Dorothy Davis. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831 with the Reverend Robert Livesay officiating.
