Evelyn Elliott

Evelyn S. Elliott, age 92, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at her home in Disputanta, Virginia. Evelyn was born in King William, Virginia on November 16, 1930 to the late Louise Kemp Smith and John Smith. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, James Elliott; her brother, John Smith, Jr.; and her sister, Bonnie Greenwood. She was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Elliott is survived by her son, Alan Elliott (Catherine); five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Phyllis Langford and Elva Peatross.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church, 23814 River Road, N. Dinwiddie 23803, with Pastor Raleigh Nunally officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory.
