Everett Adams

Everett John Adams, 68, of North Dinwiddie, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018. Born in Germany on October 16, 1949, he was the son of Martin Adams, Jr. and Kate Pundt Adams. Everett retired from the Department of Corrections after more than 30 years of service, and was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church, in North Dinwiddie. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Tatum Adams; sons, John C. Adams (Linda), Michael S. Adams (Shelly), and Martin A. Adams (Laura); and 12 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with Pastor Michael Tolbert officiating. Interment to follow in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd., Richmond, Virginia 23220.
