Frances Davis Garrett, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Born August 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Flourian Riley, Sr. and Gladys Davis. She was also proceeded in death by her brother, Ronald “Buster” Davis, dear friend, Al Livengood, and loving husband, Charles Garrett.

Frances was active in her community, participating in the Senior Club of Colonial Heights. She also had a love for traveling.

She is survived by her brother, Flourian Riley Davis, Jr. (Betty), sons, Raymond Garrett (Rita), Wesley Garrett (Linda), daughter, Ellen Melton (Wayne), grandchildren, Jennifer Shields, Craig Melton, Michael Melton (Ashley), Eric Garrett (Holli), Charles Ray Garrett, Matthew Chase Garrett, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
