Gerald Brown

Gerald W. Brown Gerald W. Brown 82, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born February 19, 1933 to the late Robert C. and Florence Rushmore Brown and was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Vaughan Brown. Mr. Brown was retired Civil Service working as a Pipefitter at Ft Lee. He is survived by two sons, Gerald T. Brown and wife, Rose, Michael Brown and wife, Maybelline; a daughter, Arlene Brown Moore (John) all of Dinwiddie; two brothers, Joseph Brown of Chester, James Brown of North Dinwiddie; sister Evelyn Atkins of Petersburg; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A longtime and special friend for over twenty years, Bessie Munford of North Dinwiddie. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 in the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 3935 S. Crater Rd Petersburg, 23805. Burial to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
