Gerald Belcher

Gerald Lynn Belcher, 54, of Ettrick, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Southside Regional Medical Center.  He was born November 22, 1967 in Petersburg, to the late Gerald Eugene and Patricia Anne Staley Belcher.  Gerald was a former employee of Chesterfield County.  He loved fishing, racing, yard work, and was a lifelong Washington Redskins Fan.   He is survived by a sister, Cheryl Ann Belcher; son, Ryan Belcher and his wife, Tabitha; daughter; Jessica Derby and her husband Blake; grandson, Bryan Kade Derby; niece, Britni Higginbotham; nephew, Dallas Higginbotham and his wife Brandi; and grand-dogs, Sassy and Oliver.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend David Prather officiating.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
