Gordon "Wayne" Collins

Gordon Wayne “Wayne” Collins, 82, of Dinwiddie, VA unexpectedly passed away on November 14, 2023. Wayne was born on September 6, 1941 and grew up in Burkeville, VA.

Wayne attended Virginia Tech University and joined the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He loved his family, antiquing, and traveling the world with his beloved wife.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life his wife, Carol Roberts Collins, and his parents, James and Mattie Collins. He is survived by his children, Jonathan Collins (Jennifer) and Patrick Collins (Katie); his grandchildren Jonah, Jace Aric, and James; his brother James Allen “Al” Collins (Linda); his sister-in-law Kay Young; and multiple nieces and nephews.
