Irie Roney

Irie Jeanette Roney, 86, of Disputanta passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Born July 16, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Nellie Strickland, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edgar Roney; and son, Kerry Roney.

A loving and devoted mother, she leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Evelyn Burnsides (Chee), Rise Talley (Glenn); grandchildren, Desiree Stoerkel, Nicole Stoerkel, Thomas Talley; great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.
