James “Jim” Ramos, age 69 of Henrico County, Virginia, passed away recently leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and simple joys. He retired after 15 years of service from LA Diff in Richmond, Virginia.

Jim enjoyed fishing, walking and hiking, listening to all types of music, cooking and grilling, and spending time with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carmen Ramos; his mother, Alice Ramos; and his grandmother, Elena Marquez.

Jim is survived by his son, James T. Ramos (Kayla); his granddaughters, Kyleigh and Kendra Ramos; his sister, Tina Campos (Dan); his twin brother, John Ramos; his nieces and nephews, Gino (Jill), Danny (Emily), Nicole (Robert), and Alessandra (J.J.); and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jim will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A service memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
