Jean Woodruff Tucker, 91, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1935, to the late Virgil and Hannah Talley of Dinwiddie County, Virginia.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lance Warren Tucker, and her brothers, Wilbur Talley, Jack Talley, Virgil Talley, and Horace Guy Talley.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Sue Foresta (Vincent); her grandson, David Kissner (Tina); her great-grandchildren, Jessa Sadler (AAron), Luke Kissner, Jillian Vaughan (Joshua), and Jared Kissner; and five great-great-granddaughters.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers, Terri Hios, Brandi Taylor, Deborah Rosie, and Christine Lawson, as well as the staff of Amedisys, including Nurse Tyrini and Aid Tiarra, for their care and support.

Jean was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights, Virginia. She retired from LA Sheffield Transfer and Storage in Petersburg, Virginia.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
