Jerry A Worley Sr.

Jerry A Worley Sr, 79, of Sutherland, VA passed on November 8, 2025. He was the son of the late James Alvin Worley and Florence Archer Worley. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry A Worley Jr., daughter, Tracie Lynn Vaughan, and one special grandchild.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Worley, daughter, Donna Worley-Sheffield, son, James Richard “JR” Worley (Brandy), step-son, John Atwood (Stefani), step-daughters, Linn Atwood, Karyn Atwood, brother, James Thomas Worley (Bernadette), special nephews, Frankie Amburn (Kim), Jimmy Worley (Monta), 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, two special friends, Faron Sadler (Terry), Rob Robertson (Faye), and his beloved furry friends.

He retired from Amsted Rail after more than 20 years of dedicated work. Jerry enjoyed spending his time riding his Harley, enjoying watersports, traveling, and taking part in all kinds of outdoor activities. He will be remembered for his love of adventure and his kind, easygoing spirit.

Arrangements are being cared for at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
