Jimmy Calvin Ratliff

Jimmy Calvin Ratliff, 83, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Born in Virginia on February 23, 1942, he was the son of the late James Henry Ratliff, Sr. and Florrie Cumbie Ratliff. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Ratliff.

Jimmy retired from Philip Morris after 32 years of dedicated service. A lifelong member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, he was a devoted and active congregant, faithfully serving as an usher.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Vaughan Ratliff; daughter, Terri Lynn Queensberry (Wade) of Colonial Heights; sons, Steven Ray Tipton and Michael Calvin Ratliff (Haidee), both of Colonial Heights; two grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Ratliff and Mackenzie Brooke Queensberry; one great-grandchild, Juliana Grace Connelly; brother, James “Buster” Henry Ratliff, Jr.; sisters, Evelyn Gref and Florence Boswell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
