John Marshall Beasley-Holton, 47, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. Born in Petersburg, Virginia on April 11, 1978, he was the son of the late Marshall Lee Beasley, Jr. and Donna Perkins Beasley. He was also preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Ashley Hailey.

He is survived by his husband of 24 years, James Beasley-Holton; brother, Steven Beasley (Kathryn); sister, Florence Wells (Kenny); stepsons, Justin Hailey, Jordan Holton, and Timothy Hailey; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

John worked in Human Resources for JCPenney for 27 dedicated years. He lived a simple life and enjoyed spending his free time on his computer playing games, a hobby that brought him many quiet hours of enjoyment.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
