Joyce Marie Wilkerson, 92, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. She was born on September 1, 1934, to the late Estel and Ruth Gee Stark. In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Michael Wilkerson; son, Keith M. Wilkerson; granddaughter, Ryan Wilkerson; and two sisters.

Joyce enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially working on puzzles, crossword puzzles, and paint-by-number projects. She also had a love for clothes and jewelry and always enjoyed looking her best. Joyce dedicated many years to the family business, Mike Wilkerson, Inc. in Colonial Heights, where she worked until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving son, Brian Wilkerson and his wife, Brenda; daughter-in-law, Sharon Wilkerson; three grandchildren, Lindsey Mills, Kelly Pfost, and Reid Wilkerson; six great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Cummins; brother, Dale Stark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, South Prince George, Virginia 23805.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Joyce's memory.
