Julia Ann Nemecek, 80, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born in Blackstone, Virginia on December 31, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William A. Mayton, Sr. and Mary Lunsford Mayton. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Gladys M. Stanfield, and her brother, William A. Mayton, Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce M. Cramer; son, Tim Nemecek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, VA. She spent many years in administrative service, having worked as office manager for Hawkins Electrical, office manager for Hall Brothers Electrical, and as an administrative clerk with Dominion Chemical Company.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
