Larry Evan Pierce, 68, of Chester, passed away, from Agent Orange exposure during his tour in Vietnam, on Monday, July 9, 2018. Born in Hopewell, on December 6, 1949, he was the son of the late William L. and Mavis Corbett Pierce. He was a retired Supervisor with Hercules, and a United States Army veteran. Mr. Pierce was a former president and coach of the Enon Athletic Association. He is survived by his wife, Sue Pierce; daughter, Cindy Pierce; son, Will Pierce (Amy) all of Chester; grandchildren, Elizabeth & Emily Pierce; faithful companion, Smokey; sister, Peggy Pierce Stainback (Rufus) of Jacksonville, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
