Linda Ann Moore, 70, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away on September 5, 2026. She was born on January 12, 1956, in Sumter, South Carolina, to Curtis Wade Vinson and Maria Lüdl Vinson.

Linda worked as a Buyer for The Supply Room Co. for 20 years. Outside of work, she found happiness in gardening and in the company of animals, especially dogs. She loved her own pets and had a soft spot for everyone else’s dogs as well. It was not unusual to find Linda with her hands in the dirt tending to something in the garden or sitting on the floor giving her attention to a dog.

Linda was a giver by nature. She consistently put the needs of others before her own and showed her love through the care and support she gave so freely. Her family will remember her for her generosity, her caring spirit, and especially the unconditional love she gave to those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Wade Vinson; her mother, Maria Irene Texter; her stepmother, Beverly Vinson; her stepfather, Frank D. Texter; and her mother-in-law, Norma Ashburn Moore.

Linda is survived by her husband, William H. Moore III; her son, Thomas Wayne Moore; her three stepchildren and their families: Ashton Moore and Lauren Campbell; Nathan and Nikki Moore and their children, Kendall, Laina, and Colton; and Hunter and Courtney Moore and their children, Anthony and Eloise. She is also survived by her great-grandchild, Easton.

Linda will be remembered for the love she gave without condition, her generous heart, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of her family, friends, and the many four-legged companions who were always happy to find a place beside her.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Beach Grange, 11401 Bundle Rd, Chester, VA 23838.
