Lou Ann Wargofcak, age 69, passed away peacefully in her bed on August 6, 2025. Born on February 20, 1956, in Fort Hood, Texas, Lou Ann lived a life filled with love, laughter, faith, and service.
She was a long-time resident of Chester, Virginia, where she devoted more than 35 years of her career as a Project Manager at Fort Lee. Lou Ann made the heartfelt decision to join Saint Ann’s Catholic Church, where she nurtured a deep and personal faith that remained close to her heart throughout her life
Lou Ann was a woman who found joy in the simple and profound: cooking delicious meals, listening to full albums of music, entertaining loved ones, shopping, and most of all, being with her family. Her presence lit up every room she entered, and her warmth touched the lives of many.
She is preceded in death by her father, Vincent Logsdon, and her brother, Anthony Logsdon
She is survived by her mother Betty Logsdon, loving husband, Joseph Wargofcak, her children Joshua Wargofcak (Leslie) and Jessica Jones (Montana), her stepdaughter Christy Cason (Sean). She also leaves behind her cherished brother, Michael Logsdon, and her adored grandchildren: Ethan Jones, Dylan Jones, Levi Wargofcak, Kaleb Jones, Lukas Wargofcak, and Jonas Wargofcak, as well as step-grandchildren Zachary Cason and Jeremy Cason. Lou Ann was deeply loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lou Ann’s life at a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday evening, August 12, 2025, at Saint Ann Catholic Church 17111 Rte. 1, South Chesterfield, Virginia 23834. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Chesterfield EMS, Company 21 station captain, 16901 Harrowgate Rd, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Checks made out to “Station 21 CARES Fund”. In honor of Lou Ann’s appreciation for service and community.
