Mildred Watson

Mildred Lucille Watson, 82, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Watson; daughter-in-law, Karen Watson; and grandson, Robert "Bert" Watson, Jr. She is survived by five children; Ronnie L. Watson (Melissa) of Chesterfield, Blanche Cairns (Leonard) of Dewitt, Barbara Dice (Jimmy) of Dinwiddie, Gene Watson (Trish) of Rice, Mike Watson of Colonial Heights; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brother, Maurice Walker of Durham, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Frank Watson of Durham, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Tate of Creedmoor, North Carolina. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with the Reverend Jason Lewis officiating. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the funeral home.
