It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nellie Wright Arnold McNees, age 95, who peacefully passed on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at her sons’ home in Dinwiddie, Va., in the care of family and her compassionate caregivers.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Wright; husband, Raymond “Red” C. Arnold, Sr. (married for 46 years); husband, Dave McNees (married for 16 years); brother, Robert L. Wright;  son, Raymond “Ray” C. Nellies’ home was always full of love for her family and especially her seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She loved making wonderful memories at her Lake Gaston home with her family and extended McNees family including seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.

Nellie retired from Richard’s Wine Cellars (Petersburg.
