Norman Lovin, 82, of Colonial Heights passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Born January 10, 1941, he was the son of the late Ernest and Ada Lovin.
He dedicated 30 years of his life to Honeywell, where he retired. Prior to his career, Norman proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army for four years. He found fellowship as a proud member of the American Legion Post 284 and the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge.
Norman enjoyed playing games such as dominoes, UNO, horseshoes, and shooting pool, where he would attempt to hustle his opponent.
Norman is survived his wife, Sharon Leigh Lovin; son, Norman Carson Lovin and wife, Teri; four grandchildren; his little buddy, Cameron Guernsey; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will taken place at 3:00 p.m on Wednesday, January 4, 2024 in East Lawn Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Boulevard, Kingsport, TN 37664.
