Norma "Nonie" Maxwell Krumpter

Norma (Nonie) Arlene Maxwell Krumpter, 76, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 22, 2021.

Nonie was predeceased by her husband, Bill Krumpter, sister, Evelyn Besant, brothers Michael Maxwell and Edward Maxwell, and her grandson, Alec.  She is survived by two brothers, Thomas Maxwell and James Maxwell, her four children, Billy Krumpter (Julie), Elodie Knoeller (Mike), Tom Krumpter (Helen), and Tim Krumpter (Anita), and 7 grandchildren, Brenna, Michael, Lizzy, Allison, Dustin, Sophie, and Louis.

Nonie, a retired civil servant, worked in the housing office at Fort Lee.  She also enjoyed working customer service at Sears locations in Petersburg and Colonial Heights. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed playing with her “Bingo family” at the Hopewell Moose Lodge 1472 and the Colonial Heights American Legion Post 284.

The family will hold a visitation on Wednesday, December 29th, 1:00-3:00pm, at the Hopewell Moose Lodge, 4701 Western Street, Hopewell, VA 23860.  Donations can be made in Nonie’s honor to the Hopewell Moose Lodge (by mail).
