Oliver Vinson

Oliver Ray Vinson, 57, of Colonial Heights passed away Sunday, August 15th , 2021. Ray was born in Petersburg, Va. He is the son of Jean and Harold Vinson. Ray was a graduate of Colonial Heights High School and was employed by AAPCO. He will be remembered for his love of music, love of animals, and his quick wit. Ray is survived by his son, Paul Vinson; mother, Jean Vinson; brother, Kenny Vinson; one niece; one nephew; and numerous cousins, aunts, and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brandon Wray for his support throughout Ray’s illness. They would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Bon Secours Community Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3120 Woodlawn Avenue, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
