Pamela Beckner Harville, 79, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Born in Richmond, VA, on February 27, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Winfield Scott Beckner and Barbara Marie Wray Beckner. She was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Mera Stilette Harville, and her sister, Jacqueline Beckner.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Allen T. Harville; son, Tyus C. Harville and his wife, Sara; grandchildren, Andrew T. Harville, Nicolette E. Harville, and Avery A. Harville; and her brothers, Milo Beckner and Lamont Beckner.
Pam was a 1965 graduate of Thomas Dale High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Smithdeal-Massey Business College. This education led to a long and dedicated career in bookkeeping, during which she worked for Miller & Rhoads, Truxmore Corporation, and Payne Forest Products. Pam was a longtime and devoted member of Matoaca United Methodist Church, where she faithfully served in the choir and on the bereavement committee. She was also deeply involved with the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years, standing proudly beside her husband throughout his decades of service. Pam served Troop 175 as treasurer, committee chair, and advancement chair, and was a guiding presence and leader to countless Scouts over the years.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Matoaca United Methodist Church, 6301 River Rd, S Chesterfield, VA 23803. Interment will follow in East Matoaca Cemetery, S Chesterfield, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Matoaca United Methodist Church, 6301 River Rd, S Chesterfield, VA 23803.
