Pastoria A. Bryant, 101, of Chester, VA passed away on June 19 2023 after a brief illness.
Prior to moving to Chester in the early 1980's, Pat and her late husband, Bruce, lived in Sandy Point, VA, overlooking the lower Potomac River. She and Bruce loved spending time on the water in their boat, the "Lady Pastoria," and catching bluefish. Her fish bakes were legendary.
Her late siblings, William and Kathleen, were dear to her, and one of her great joys was flying out west to spend time with her brother at his home in Solana Beach, CA.
Pat was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but she also had an enormous heart and will be missed.
She is survived by her niece, Kathy Sullivan of Urbanna, VA, and by her great nephew, Stephen Wilson of Richmond, VA.
She will reunite with Bruce and other family members at Blandford Cemetery, where she visited often. Interment will be private. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. John's Church Foundation, 2319 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23223, or the Massey Cancer Center, Box 843042 Richmond, VA 23284
